I first began developing my skills in filmmaking and creating audio-visual content at the age of fourteen when I successfully earned a place at the Birmingham Ormiston Academy, one of the most successful arts schools in the UK, that allowed me to have the opportunity to pursue Digital Media Production as part of my full-time education, with access to facilities such as Radio and Television Studios that I would have not otherwise had the privilege to access.
I am currently enrolled at the University of Portsmouth, in which I am studying Film Production. My two main interests in the industry lie within screenwriting and sound design, in which I have honed these skills throughout my first two years of my degree.
Earlier this year, I earned my PADI certified Underwater Filming and Media qualification, allowing me to explore videography to a whole new level. Using this qualification, I captured underwater footage for my climate-conscious short film: Siren, which was also my Writer / Director debut.
I am currently a Creative Campaigns Intern for National Geographic UK, in which I create content for both the company's TV channel and Social Media platforms. Once my internship is complete, work I have produced will be available to see.
My main goal is to create content with underlying impactful messages. I am passionate about topics such as Environmental Sustainability, Child Welfare and Animal Rights.
